I haven't updated the Bag-out-Bag (BoB) list in a while, so I posted it again below. Not many changes, just a folding saw and some flares, if I remember correctly.
As I previously stated, this
list does not include tools, weapons, ammo and similar as that depends on each
person ability and propension for using such items.
Be sure to keep a log of expiration dates in order to rotate
perishable items like medicines to keep the bags ready to go at any
time.
Notice that I have just listed "First Aid Kits" as a single item with no break down of contents. If you have special medicinal needs, it may not be practical to keep some of them in the BoB if they are prescriptions, have short expiration dates or similar. Just remember to grab YOUR medicines too if you need to evacuate.
I really like the First Aid Kits from Adventure Medical Kits. They may appear a little pricey and you may think to be able to save some money by building your own kit; once you see whats in them, you realize that they are actually not that expensive. I have one sized for camping / hiking for 4 people for a week and a second specific for hunters. They keep changing the names of these kits on their web page, but the products lists are well organized by activity, number of people, length of a trip.
Get your stock ready and prepped.
