We talked about weather, zombie literature, emergency preparedness and Bag-out Bags (BoB), hunting, Anime series, Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) like Vindictus from Nexon ...

Let's go back to zombies, just because it is in my head...well...yeah...I think about zombies a lot. HAHA
As I sent the link for Mira Grant (author of the Newsflesh trilogy) website to a friend, I noticed two short novellas related to events tied to that story. YEAH!!!
One in particular is very interesting. I haven't finished reading it, but the interesting part has to do on how I found out and some other small details.
You see, the short story I started reading is in the form of an interview to one of the survivors of the beginning of the "zombie apocalypse" which is the background for the series. The event covered in the interview was San Diego Comic-con convention in the Summer of 2014. I know the author took real information and adapted it to her story as there is really a Comic-con in San Diego California in July 2014.

But the friend I referred to earlier, to which I sent the link from Mira Grant site, is from San Diego!!!

Now, you tell me that is not a spooky coincidence! I do not know ANYBODY else from San Diego.

I am double checking my doors and windows reinforcements, weapons and ammo, emergency food and water supply; vehicles gas tanks are filled.

  • REMINDER: Check expiration dates on medicines and similar in your emergency first aid kits, food and water. Do not waste them. Use, replace and keep them fresh.
  1. Need labels for my ammo boxes
  2. Need to sight new rifle
  3. Check cross-bow and compound bow strings (get some extra replacements)
  4. Re-stack wood pile
  5. Get more gas cans and stabilizer for storage (keep supply fresh by using and replenish)
Hey, do not look at me. Even the Center for Disease Control (CDC) says that if you are ready for a zombie apocalypse you are ready for any other emergency.
