Remember when yesterday I mentioned the fact that sometimes the Smasher in Fortnite would not walk up a Pyramid but depending on his swing he could start hitting at the base?

Last night I got raped by 5-6 smasher coming through in succession. And not those puny dark blue regular Smasher (see picture).

It was the perfect storm. First a butt load of huskies, Bee- fucking-hives (I hate those), the little jumping minions that are like rabid chihuahuas, then several 'sploding huskies taking care of half my tunnel ... and the Smashers ... fire, nature, regular and expecially those fuckers with a lighter blue shield like, but they are not shielded by the little floating dude.

As I was soloing, even the 106 Noc was not doing enough damage per second (dps) to slow them down when you have 3 in a nice grouping. And all charging just right to rip me a new one through 3 layers on walls.

As a point of reference, I was running Canny Storm Shield Defense 6. I have to do 6 and 7 to unlock next level of the skill tree, so I really need them.

To add insult to injury, I was less than 30 seconds completing the last wave of fuckers.

I admit, I did not use my turrets at the right time, but those 'sploding huskies threw me for a half loop and I was trying to stop them.

Soooooooo, action item! Rebuild. Add some more traps where the regular waves came through to help on protecting a little more. On the raped Amplifier, block with several layers of metal walls 2 of the 3 main access points (fortunately they are all tight and tunnel like, and concentrate on one. I was trying to cover two sides at the same time and there was not enough firepower or traps after the "special" Smasher came through ripping walls and traps like they were paper. They better come the same way next time or I will be pissed.

Of course I do not have enough nuts and dicks (nuts and bolts) to craft all the traps I need to replace, so I will have to run some regular missions to gather needed materials. Unfortunately I cannot level my main weapons anymore until I run successfully Canny 7 and unlock the last skill tree.

After I have rebuilt, I will try to get at least one person to help me out. I was really really close and in two we probably would not have anything other than superficial damage.
